Professor Alexandre de la Taille is head of Urology Department in CHU Mondor Assistance Publique des Hopitaux de Paris in France and also head of the Inserm U955Eq07 research team on translational research in uro-oncology. He has been involved in uro-oncology for over 15 years and is in charge of the robotic surgery program. His research and clinical activity are focused on Prostate (BPH and cancer). His main research programs include discovery and validation of biomarkers for high-risk prostate cancer patients treated by chemotherapy and hormonal therapies and in inflammation in prostatic benign hyperplasia patients. He teaches and has spoken on urology, robotic surgery and molecular biology of prostate cancer at Paris XII University, IRCAD, American Uological Association meetings and European Association of Urology (EAU) meetings. He is one of the member of the Scientific Office of EAU. He wrote over 368 published articles, predominantly focusing on prostate cancer, and his work has received an array of honors, such as the Crystal Matula Award from the EAU and the first prize of research from the American Urological Association (AUA).

Mauro Gacci is Professor at the University of Florence. He works at the Unit of robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and kidney transplantation at the University Hospital Careggi, Florence, Italy since 2004. In this context, he has performed over 8000 surgeries such as first operator. He is the chair of office of education of the Societè Internationale d’Urologie (SIU) Academy. He is a member of the Guideline Office of the European Association of Urology (EAU) He has authored the International Consultation of Urologic Disease (ICUD) Guideline on Male Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction. He is an active member of many international and national scientific societies, including EAU, SIU, SIUD. Professor Mauro Gacci’s research interests include: preclinical, medical and surgical studies on LUTS due to BPH, prostate cancer and radical prostatectomy, robotic surgery, quality of life after oncologic surgery, comprising post-prostatectomy erectile dysfunction and incontinence. He has authored more than 600 indexed publications, including text-books of urologic surgery and international guidelines, with an H-Index of 62 and more than 15,000 citations. He is a reviewer for several urologic and non-urologic journals including European Urology, Journal of Urology, Urology, The Prostate, Prostate cancer and prostatic disease, British Journal of urology, World Journal of Urology, Urologia Internationalis, Journal of sexual medicine, Asian Journal of andrology.

He obtained his MD thesis at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. With special interest in Lower Urinary Tract Disease, Overactive Bladder, Female Urology, and Neurostimulation.

Peter Albers, MD, is a Board Member of the European Cancer Organization and Professor of Urology and Chairman of the Department of Urology, Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf, Germany. From 2018 to 2022, he served as Medical Director of the CIO Düsseldorf, Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University Hospital Düsseldorf. In January 2020 he was double appointed Division Head of the newly established Division “Personalized Early Detection of Prostate Cancer” in the National Cancer Prevention Center of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg.

His special research interests are the development of new risk-adapted screening programs for prostate cancer and clinical research in testicular cancer.

Dr. Ponco Birowo, Sp.U(K), Ph.D is an experienced Urology Specialist. Currently, dr. Ponco Birowo practices at RSU Bunda Jakarta as a Urology Specialist. He completed his Urology Specialist education at the University of Indonesia in 2005 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Urology at the Hannover Medizinische Hochshule, Germany in 2009.

dr. Ponco Birowo is a member of the Indonesian Urology Association (IAUI). He currently serves as a Lecturer at the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, University of Indonesia. The health services he provides include PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy), Kidney Transplantation, Fertility examination, Urology consultation.

Vipul Patel, MD, FACS completed his medical school education at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He then completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami in Florida. He is board certified by the American Urological Association and is the medical director of the Global Robotics Institute at Advent Health Celebration and medical director of the Advent Health Cancer Institute Urologic Oncology Program. He is a professor of Urology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida, and a clinical associate professor of Urology at Nova Southeastern University. He is the most experienced robotic surgeon in the world and has personally performed over 19,000 robotic prostatectomies.
