Citizens from the following countries are allowed to enter Oman without a visa*

As part of national efforts to streamline and promote tourism services, citizens from over 100 countries and regions are exempt from entry visas for stays of up to 14 days.

require a visas from either the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, the countries of the Schengen agreement, or Japan to get visa exemption.

  • GCC Nationals: Citizens of GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE) do not require visas to enter Oman.
  • GCC Residents also get free visa on arrival however it will be subject to the designation. Please go through Royal Oman Police website for more information. https://www.rop.gov.om/english/

Nationalities not mentioned in the Group 1, Group 2 (with a valid US, Canada, the United Kingdom, the countries of the Schengen agreement, or Japan) must pre-arrange a visa through a local sponsor/ DMC.

Visa Fees (As of 2025)
  • Standard Tourist Visa (10 days): Starting from US$ 25.00
  • Express Entry VISA (14 days): USD 100.00

Certain African Nationals (Not mentioned in the Group 2 Counties), Pakistani & Bangladeshi Nationals must apply for an Express Visa, which is subject to approval by the authorities. We need the details in advance to get a letter from Ministry of Heritage and Tourism which help us to secure the visa.

Documents Required for Oman Tourist Visa Application
  1. Passport:
    • Original passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of travel.
    • Passport should have at least two blank pages for visa stamps.
    • Clear photocopies of the passport's bio-data page and any pages containing previous visa stamps or travel history.
  2. Photograph:
    • Recent passport-sized photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm).
    • Blue background with clear facial visibility.
    • The photograph must be professionally taken and free of shadows or reflections.
  3. Travel Itinerary:
    • Confirmed round-trip flight tickets.
    • Travel schedule, including entry and exit dates.

Important Notes
  • Overstaying your visa incurs a fine of 10 OMR per day.
  • Extensions are possible for an additional fee of 20 OMR.
  • Fines can be up to 10 Omani rials a day, with a total maximum fine of 500 rials.
